Spring Seva Work Retreat

With Naader Shagagi and Carolina Cotman

April 24 - 28, 2024

Program is fully booked

The meaning of Seva is “selfless giving”.

In this retreat, we will gather in the spirit of Seva for the betterment of ourselves and our Samaa Living Fellowship. Guests are asked to devote 4-5 hours a day to service of the fellowship, one another, and spirit. We will work on property improvements, repairs, clean-up and meal preparation. Each guest will be assigned a duty, based on skill set or preference.

In exchange, Samaa Living will provide guests with lodging and meals. Just like in every retreat, we will practice daily yoga and meditation, gather in Satsang and sacred circles. Our focus is nourishment of the soul through the act of selfless service, gathering together in devotion to our practice, to commune with spirit, and create community around mealtimes.

We’re very happy to share that our friend and Curative student Eva Brune will be leading the kitchen crew and nourishing us with amazing Ayurvedic meals…

A little bit about Eva… “My name is Eva Brune and I studied Curative Yoga with Naader and Carolina in 2012, having come to yoga after a health scare. I must credit Curative Yoga and its teachers for having taught me how to live, and I am grateful every day for the abiding joy they helped me uncover.

Today, I offer a variety of healing modalities that bring together body, breath and mind; each one offering you a unique access point to your inner world.  My certification in teaching Yoga (ERYT-500), Thai Yoga massage and Ayurvedic Integrated Nutrition allow me to share these ancient traditions with confidence, but it is my personal experience of them that has led me to this point. I am simply in awe of the beauty of life, in our ability to deepen our experience of ourselves and in the infinite wisdom and joy that reside within each one of us. I look forward to exploring some of the wonders and benefits of Ayurvedic Integrated Nutrition with you during the Samaa Living Seva Retreat. Join me in the kitchen!”

*There is a $50 fee to cover administrative costs.
